Embodiments relate to an active multi-sensory user preference evaluation apparatus using brainwaves comprising: a subject preference acquisition unit acquiring preference for a haptic profile from a subject group operating a haptic profile generator； a reference brainwave data acquisition unit acquiring reference brainwave data related to the preference from a user group while the subject group enters the preference； a user brainwave data acquisition unit acquiring user brainwave data from a user while the user operates an object； and a preference estimating unit estimating the user′s preference for the object on the basis of the acquired user brainwave data and the reference brainwave data related to the preference, and to a preference evaluation method using the active multi-sensory user preference evaluation apparatus using brainwaves.
