PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin ulcer therapeutic agent, a skin basement membrane activator, a periodontal tissue regeneration agent for the oral cavity, and an agent for periodontitis prevention that promote the production of a laminin 5 and basic fibroblast growth factor.SOLUTION: The invention provides a laminin 5 production promoting agent and a basic fibroblast growth factor production promoting agent that include cetylpyridinium chloride. Promoting the production of the laminin 5 or basic fibroblast growth factor enables the provision of a skin ulcer therapeutic agent, a skin basement membrane activator, a periodontal tissue regeneration agent for the oral cavity, and an agent for periodontitis prevention.SELECTED DRAWING: None
