The present invention relates to a method for analyzing a brain image, and more particularly, to a method for dividing a brain image for efficient image analysis. According to the present invention, an EM algorithm is combined with a marker-controlled watershed division and the EM algorithm is introduced to divide an image into a cluster. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining an image; obtaining a foreground marker and a background marker; obtaining an initial gradient image; and applying watershed division.본 발명은 뇌이미지를 분석하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 효율적인 이미지 분석을 위해 뇌이미지를 구획화하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 EM 알고리즘을 마커-조절 워터쉐드 분할과 조합하였으며, EM 알고리즘은 클러스터 내로 이미지를 분할하기 위해 도입된다.
