PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control air-conditioning according to a sleep state by determining users sleep state.
SOLUTION: This air conditioner 10 includes an infrared ray sensor 1 detecting a person without contact, an image display section 2 representing a temperature distribution detected by the infrared ray sensor 1 as a thermal pixel image 8, a memorizing device 3 memorizing the information relating to the air-conditioning control including the thermal pixel image 8, a body motion analyzing section 4 specifying a head part, a trunk part, hand and leg parts of the detected person, and analyzing magnitude and number of times of body motion of at least one predetermined part and/or a surface temperature of the region, a sleep state determining section 5 for estimating and determining the sleep state of the person on the basis of a result of the analysis by the body motion analyzing section 4, and the air-conditioning control section 6 controlling the air-conditioning on the basis of the determination by the sleep state determining section 5.
