PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic composition allowing stabilization of a tear fluid layer during wearing a contact lens, suppression of eye dryness, solution to eyestrain and to reduction in contrast sensitivity, good use feeling, excellent convenience, no risk of misuse, and high efficiency at the steps of production to selling.SOLUTION: An eye drop for wearing a contact lens contains (A) one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of cellulosic polymer compounds, vinyl polymer compounds, polyethylene glycol and dextran and (B) terpenoid. The cellulosic polymer compound is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and salts thereof.
