A system and method images first and second views of a subject and analyses the view to identify devices and anatomical structures. The images are overlayed with labeling identifying anatomical structures and/or segment regions corresponding to the anatomical structures. The segment regions have indicia differentiating the segment regions. The overlayed images are displayed to a doctor executing a procedure on the subject to assist in identifying the anatomical structures. In an embodiment a nominal anatomical model is adapted to an anatomical structure and substituted in a display to provide greater clarify than an actual image. Devices in the first and second views are identified and optionally movement paths of the devices is tracked and displayed.
