A dry biomass consists of (A) seeds and/or plant parts and/or mosses as well as fertiliser and a dry adhesive, as binder, miscible with the biomass and developing an adhesive effect when wetted. The mixt. is pourable. The binder is pref. a granulated or powdered synthetic polyacrylamide able to take up a multiple of its own wt. of water. The biomass consists of (a) 50 L substrate, (b) 250g fertiliser, (c) 100g adhesive, (d) 80g sedum scions, (e) 30g mosses and (f) 5g seeds. USE/ADVANTAGE - For greening of areas, esp. roofs and artifical substrate; the compsn. can be readily applied and is highly suitable for extensive greening.
