PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moss greening unit using bryophyte plants, which is light-weight, excellent in adiabaticity, and can be constructed easily by using a culture medium structure suitable for growth of the bryophyte plants.SOLUTION: A moss greening unit in which a water-permeable layer 2 and a water-retentive layer 3 considering growth of bryophyte plants 1 are constructed in a support medium 4, is installed on a building roof floor or a factory roof. Considering the growth environment of the bryophyte plants 1, it is important that water retentivity and water permeability are balanced. A portion adjacent to moss which becomes the water-permeable layer 2 uses crushed tiles and ceramic made by baking and granulating diatomaceous earth, and the water-retentive layer 3 is disposed underneath the water-permeable layer 2, thereby making the environment with the water retentivity and permeability suitable for the bryophyte plants 1. The support medium 4 includes a drainage function, a function preventing deviation/displacement, and an adhesion structure, thereby improving transport efficiency and installation efficiency. The used materials are lightweight compared with soil, therefore, when being installed on the roof floor, a load applied to the building is reduced and insulation effectiveness is also provided so that power saving in the building can be also expected.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】蘚苔類植物の生育に好適な培地構造による軽量、断熱性に優れ、施工も容易に出来る蘚苔類植物による苔緑化ユニットを提供する。【解決手段】蘚苔類植物1の生育を考慮した透水性の層2、保水性の層3を支持体4内に構成した苔緑化ユニットをビルの屋上や工場の屋根に設置するものである。蘚苔類植物1は生育環境を考慮した場合、保水、透水のバランスが重要であり苔に接する部分は透水性の層2となる部分に瓦を粉砕したものと珪藻土の焼成顆粒にしたセラミックを使用し、その下に保水性の層3を設けることにより蘚苔類植物1にとって好適な保水、透水の環境をつくることができる。また支持体4へは排水機能及び偏り、ずれ防止機能、接着構造を持たせることにより運搬効率の向上と施工の効率化ができる。これらの使用する材質は、土壌に比べ軽量なため屋上に設置した場合でも建物に対する負担が少なく断熱効果もあるため、建物内の省エネも期待できる。【選択図】図1
