PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic which contains an active ingredient originating from a natural product and has excellent safety for a living body, which prevents and remedies loss of hair and thin hair, and which remedies degradation in luster and flexibility of hair.SOLUTION: A hair cosmetic includes an extract of a bamboo shoot which is a chit of a bamboo of the gramineous bamboo subfamily as an active ingredient.
