The present disclosure is related to the production method of a medicinal mixture comprising Tridax procumbens and Allium sativum extracts, synergistically acting against leishmaniasis and trypanosomiasis. Also includes the production method of ethanoic and aqueous extracts of Tridax procumbens and Allium sativum, respectively as well as the hexanic fraction of Tridax procumbens. The invention also describes the combined use of said extracts for the leishmaniasis and trypanosomiasis treatment in mice, demonstrating also its null toxicity.La presente invención se refiere a la obtención de una mezcla medicinal conformada por extractos de T. procumbens y A. sativum, que actúan sinérgicamente contra la leishmaniasis y la tripanosomiasis. Incluye los métodos de obtención de los extractos metanólico y acuoso de T. procumbens y A.sativum, respectivamente, así como la fracción hexánica de T. procumbens. Describe también el uso combinado de dichos extractos para el tratamiento de la leishmaniasis y la tripanosomiasis en ratones, demostrando también su nula toxicidad.
