The present invention provides an outer membrane vesicle (OMV) from a Gram-negative bacterium, comprising at least one heterologous protein that is free in the lumen of the OMV, wherein the OMV is capable of eliciting an immune response to the heterologous protein when administered to a mammal. The invention also provides methods for preparing the OMVs of the invention, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the OMVs of the invention, especially immunogenic compositions and vaccines, and methods of generating an antibody immune response in a mammal using OMVs.La présente invention concerne une vésicule de membrane externe (VME) dune bactérie à Gram négatif, qui comprend au moins une protéine hétérologue à létat libre dans la lumière de la VME, ladite VME étant apte à déclencher une réponse immunitaire contre la protéine hétérologue lorsquelle est administrée à un mammifère. Linvention concerne également des procédés de préparation de la VME selon linvention, des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant les VME selon linvention, en particulier des compositions et des vaccins immunogènes, et des méthodes consistant à provoquer une réponse immunitaire danticorps chez un mammifère au moyen des VME.
