PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can excellently prevent leakage of body fluid from a front side and a back side and is excellent in wear feeling.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes an elongated body that has a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a liquid non-permeable rear surface sheet, and an absorber provided between them. The body has: a pair of central part pressed grooves where pressed grooves are formed from the surface sheet side to the rear surface sheet side and which are formed line-symmetrically with a center line extending along an almost longitudinal direction of the body as an axis of symmetry and a pair of front lateral pressed groove and back lateral pressed groove line-symmetrically formed with a center line as an axis of symmetry front sideways and back sideways of the central part pressed grooves. The pair of front sideway and back sideway pressed grooves include a first pressed groove and a second pressed groove arranged away from the first pressed groove for an amount of center line respectively. Both of the pressed grooves are arc-shaped, and the arcs are arranged inward.
