PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese horseradish proceeded product exhibiting bright pink and having a color tone which has not been seen heretofore, while holding flavoring, flavor and feeling on the tongue specific to the Japanese horseradish proceeded product, to provide fresh surprise to an eater by pungent tastes which cannot be associated from gorgeous appearance and to clearly emphasize pungent taste of the Japanese horseradish proceeded product.SOLUTION: The above described aim is achieved by providing a Japanese horseradish proceeded product exhibiting pink color. It is also preferably to provide a Japanese horseradish proceeded product containing horseradish and a red pigment of 0.5 to 15 mass%.
