PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down-sized aroma generator which can be installed at the center of a space in which an aroma is to be diffused, allowing the aroma to be uniformly diffused into the entire space with a reduced amount of aromatic oil to be diffused.SOLUTION: The aroma generator includes: an aroma component accommodating chamber 13 having a storage region 10a for accommodating a liquid aroma component, a diffusion region 10b in which the atomized aromatic component is retained, and an emission part as opening through which the atomized aromatic component retained in the diffusion region 10b is emitted an aromatic component suction tube 12 disposed in the aroma component accommodating chamber 13, the aromatic component suction tube 12 having a suction port at the bottom of the storage region 10a, and an injection port in the diffusion region 10b and a gas blowing tube 11 having a gas blowing port through which gas is blown out toward the injection port of the aromatic component suction tube 12. The aromatic component suction tube 12 has a length of 50 mm or more.
