PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique for obtaining pollen exhibiting effective characteristics.
SOLUTION: A protein of pollen is decomposed by a protease or the like. This provides pollen having a blood pressure-lowering effect such as an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitory activity, a pollen composition containing the pollen, and a depressor comprising the pollen as an effective component.
