PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely trap a target large individual in harmful animals such as deer and wild boars.SOLUTION: A harmful animal trapping device includes a box trap (C) having an entrance (1), an opening/closing door (D) of the entrance, a trigger (2) hanging and holding the opening/closing door in a door open state of the entrance, an actuator (3) releasing the trigger to make the opening/closing door fall down by self-weight, a pyroelectric infrared sensor (4) detecting a harmful animal (A) invading into the box trap, and a reflection type photoelectric switch (5) activated by receiving an output signal of the infrared sensor to detect the size of the harmful animal.
