The present invention relates to an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, pore reduction, or anti-wrinkle composition comprising a Summer prince apple extract as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the Summer prince (Malus pumila Mill.) apple extract, which is a new-cultivating variety, has an antioxidant effect by inhibiting DPPH radical and ABTS radical and increasing PF, and exhibits an effect of inhibiting the inflammatory reaction by inhibiting hyaluronidase activity. In addition, the extract maintains the elastin molecule form by inhibiting elastase activity, exhibits an anti-wrinkle effect by inhibiting collagenase activity, exhibits a pore reduction effect by showing an astringent effect, and prevents diabetes by inhibiting α-amylase and α-glucosidase enzyme activities. Therefore, according to the present invention, the Summer prince apple extract is expected to be useful as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, pore reduction, or anti-wrinkle pharmaceutical composition, food composition, or cosmetic composition.본 발명은 썸머프린스 사과 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 항산화, 항염증, 항당뇨, 모공축소, 또는 주름개선용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 신육성 품종인 썸머프린스(Summer prince； Maluspumila Mill.) 사과 추출물은 DPPH radical 및 ABTS radical을 저해하고 PF를 증가시킴으로써 항산화 효과를 가지며, hyaluronidase 활성을 저해함으로써 염증반응을 억제시키는 효과를 나타낸다. 또한, elastase 활성을 저해함으로써 elastin 분자 형태를 유지시키고, collagenase 활성을 저해함으로써 주름개선 효과를 나타내며, astringent 효과를 나타냄으로써 모공축소 효과를 나타낼 뿐만 아니라, α-amylase 및 α-glucosidase 효소활성을 저해함으로써 당뇨병 예방 효과를 나타낸다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 썸머프린스 사과 추출물은 항산화, 항염증, 항당뇨, 모공축소, 또는 주름개선용 약학적 조성물, 식품 조성물, 또는 화장료 조성물 등으로 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
