PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engaging structure of a reel seat that can obtain good external appearance.SOLUTION: An engaging structure of a reel seat comprises: a cylindrical reel seat body 1； an extension sleeve 4 fitted to the outside of the reel seat body 1, capable of moving along a central axis direction with respect to the reel seat body 1, and incapable of relatively rotating； and a holding nut 5 screwed to a holding male thread part of the reel seat body 1, and for moving the extension sleeve 4 in the central axis direction. An engaging convex part 50 of a front end part inner surface of the holding nut 5 engages with an engaging groove 41 of a protruding piece part 40 of the extension sleeve 4. An inclined surface 41d is formed in the engaging groove 41, and an inclined surface 50d is formed in the engaging convex part 50.
