To provide an absorbent article which can retain a function of oozing of body fluid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a longitudinal direction； a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction； a front girth area； a rear girth area； a crotch area arranged between the front girth area and the rear girth area； an absorbent body provided at least in the crotch area and having at least an absorbent core； and a cover sheet arranged at the skin face side of the absorbent body at least in the front girth area. The cover sheet has a non-joint area not joined to the absorbent body, and a side joint area joined to the absorbent body at both sides of the non-joint area in the width direction.
