PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with less leakage of urine or the like from the sides.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a top sheet 2, a back sheet 3, and an absorbent laminate 10 provided therebetween. The top sheet 2 is provided with standing flaps 5 on both sides in the width direction x. The absorbent laminate 10 includes a main absorber 11 and auxiliary absorbers 21 provided to the surface of the main absorber 11 adjacent to the top sheet 2. The auxiliary absorbers 21 are disposed on both sides of the main absorber 11 in the width direction x such that the auxiliary absorbers 21 overlap with respective bases 6 from which the standing flaps 5 stand. The auxiliary absorbers 21 each include a plurality of layers of sheet members and a water-absorbent resin between sheet members and do not contain pulp fibers. The auxiliary absorbers 21 each have sealed portions on both sides in the width direction x, in which the sheet members are bonded to each other, and an unsealed portion disposed between the sealed portions.
