PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester that can adjust an interval between a pullout conveyor and a tail cutter, in which tail parts of root crops are taken in and effectively cut and removed by the tail cutter.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester is provided with a tail cutter 35 at the lower part of a pullout conveyor 24. The pullout conveyor 24 is constituted of a clamping conveyor belt 18 wound around a driving pulley 17 and a driven pulley 16 provided in the front and back of pullout frames 15, 15 provided at the right and left. A cover case 35b of the tail cutter 35 is provided at the downside in the interval of the right-and-left pullout frames 15, 15.
