Chemotherapeutic cancer treatment follow general distribution pattern to destroy cancer cells and are nonspecific, so cause cytotoxicity to normal healthy cells also. Magnetically targeted drug delivery (MTD) carry a lot advantage over any targeted therapy as it is operated with an external magnetic field which would be very rational. This method involves using iron oxide nano particles (Fe20 3 I Fe304), in general, coated on selective polymer, followed by drug encapsulation and magnetically directed delivery to the target sites. The novelty of our work relies on the usage of CaFe20 4 nano particle (CFNP) over simple Fe304 nano particle.
