The present invention provides a phase stable topical formulation of an antiviral substance, 5% acyclovir, and an anti-inflammatory glucocorticoid, 1% hydrocortisone,wherein the formulation comprises 7.5-12.5% (w/w) of isopropyl alkanoic acid ester and 10.0-15.0% (w/w) of cetostearyl alcohol, and methods of preparing the same.The composition exhibits storage stability, especially phase stability, at a temperature of about 40°C±2°C and relative humidity of about 75%±5% for a period of at least 3 months.La présente invention concerne une formulation topique à phases stables d'une substance antivirale, 5 % d'acyclovir, et d'un glucocorticoïde anti-inflammatoire, 1 % d'hydrocortisone, la formulation comprenant 7,5-12,5 % (P/P) d'ester isopropylique d'un acide alcanoïque et 10,0-15,0 % (P/P) d'alcool cétostéarylique et des procédés de préparation de la composition. La composition présente une stabilité au stockage, en particulier une stabilité de phases, à une température d'environ 40°C±2°C et à une humidité relative d'environ 75 % ± 5 % pendant une période d'au moins 3 mois.
