PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control rejection and the brightness of a rendering image independent of the setting conditions of a B mode image, in a volume rendering constituting a three-dimensional ultrasonic image.
SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic equipment acquires volume data of a subject by receiving reflected echo signals that ultrasonic signals transmitted from an ultrasonic probe are reflected on the subject, adjust the luminance based on the setting conditions of the B mode image constituting the volume data, and displays the B mode image. The volume data of the subject are adjusted to become appropriate positions relative to an opacity curve and the rendering image constituted using the adjusted volume data and the opacity curve is displayed.
