The composition comprises of applying mixture of mineral solvent with different volatilities, methyl esters, soya oil and powerful wetting, dispersing and emulsifying surfactant. The method of application is using power sprayer, with pressure adjusted just to wet the target part of the coconut tree. The solvent can melt the protective scale and give off neurotoxic properties. The dried soya has film-forming properties which suffocate the surviving eggs, nymph, and adults CSI.
