PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead body washing vessel that can improve draining property of hot and cold water used for washing a dead body and efficiency in cleaning work performed after the end of the dead body washing rite.SOLUTION: The dead body washing vessel 1 for use in washing and purifying the dead body includes a substantially rectangular bottom wall 2 and a peripheral wall 3 erected around the bottom wall 2, and also a drain port 4 provided on the rear side of the bottom wall 2. A width direction inside region of the bottom wall 2 is formed with a swelling section 6 of convex shape displaced to be gradually lower toward the width direction outside from a width direction center part, and both ends in the width direction of the bottom wall 2 are formed with drain grooves 7 located lower than the swelling section 6. Both the swelling section 6 and drain grooves 7 extend along a longitudinal direction in tapered shape displaced to be gradually lower toward the rear side from the front side, and are terminated on the front side rather than the drain port 4. A recess 8 of earthenware mortar shape is provided in a region, adjoining the rear side of the end parts of the swelling section 6 and drain grooves 7, out of the bottom wall 2, and the drain port 4 is provided in the bottom part of the recess 8.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】湯灌に使用した湯水の排出性向上を図る。【解決手段】遺体を洗い清める際に用いる湯灌槽1であって、略長方形の底壁2と、底壁2の周囲に立設された周壁3とを備え、底壁2の後方側に排水口4が設けられている。底壁2の幅方向内側領域には、幅方向中央部から幅方向外側に向かって徐々に低位に変位する凸曲面状の膨出部6が形成され、底壁2の幅方向両端部には、膨出部6よりも低位に位置した排水溝7が形成されている。膨出部6および排水溝7の双方は、前方側から後方側に向かって徐々に低位に変位したテーパ状をなして長手方向に沿って延び、かつ排水口4よりも前方側で終端している。底壁2のうち、膨出部6および排水溝7の終端部の後方側に隣接した領域にすり鉢状の凹部8を設け、この凹部8の底部に排水口4を設けている。【選択図】図1
