In case that a biological lung has lost its function due to lung cancer or chronic lung disease, an artificial lung can be used to replace the same. Until now, there has been much research on the artificial lung implantable in a living body but commercialization has not been possible. Therefore, in the present invention, by using gas solvent, a size of a device is reduced and blood coagulation can be minimized thereby making an artificial lung implantable in a body. The artificial lung suggested in the research comprises gas solvent, a pump and two gas exchangers. The gas solvent can carry and actively deliver a large amount of oxygen molecules whereby the artificial lung can be manufactured in a size implantable to a human body by using the same and a structure of an inner tube can be simplified thereby reducing occurrence of blood coagulation.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014폐암이나 만성 폐질환으로 인해 생체폐가 기능을 잃은 경우에 인공폐를 이용하여 이를 대체할 수 있다. 지금까지 생체에 이식 가능한 인공폐에 관한 많은 연구가 있었으나 상용화하지 못하였다. 이에 본 발명에서는 기체용매를 이용하여 장치의 크기를 줄이고 혈액응고를 최소화함으로써 인체에 삽입 가능한 인공폐를 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 인공폐는 기체용매, 펌프, 두 개의 기체교환기로 구성되어 있다. 기체용매는 많은 양의 산소분자를 운반하고 능동적으로 전달할 수 있는 특성을 가지고 있어 이를 사용할 경우 인공폐를 인체에 삽입 가능한 크기로 만들 수 있으며, 내부 관 구조를 간단하게 하여 혈액응고 발생을 줄일 수 있다.
