PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can reduce lateral leakage without blocking the standing of a skin surface sheet while suppressing deterioration of wearing comfort, and can be folded compactly.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises an absorber 30 and a skin surface sheet 10. The skin surface sheet is folded to a skin facing surface side from the outside of a width direction toward the inside of the width direction with a first folding line F1 along a longitudinal direction as a base point, and is folded to the skin facing surface side from the inside of the width direction toward the outside of the width direction with a second folding line F2 located inner side of the width direction than the first folding line and along the longitudinal direction as a base point. The skin surface sheet folded at the first folding line as the base point is joined together through an adhesive agent.
