PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a disposable diaper having a pertinent construction in which the disposable diaper does not contact to navel etc.SOLUTION: There is provided a disposable diaper comprising: an absorbability main body comprising an absorber having longitudinal direction and transverse direction crossing with the longitudinal direction and absorbing excreta a backside waist part positioned on one end side of the absorbability main body and a ventral side waist part positioned on the other end side of the absorbability main body. A cut part having shorter width in transverse direction than maximum width of the absorber is arranged on upper edge of the ventral side waist part in longitudinal direction as center part of the ventral side waist part in the transverse direction.
