PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly lock a tape member such as a post-treatment tape used for the disposal of a diaper on a part of the diaper in a position beyond an edge part of a waist opening.SOLUTION: An underpants-type disposable diaper has a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction that are perpendicular to each other and includes an abdominal side part, a back side part, a crotch part, a waist opening, and a pair of leg openings. An edge part of the waist opening of the abdominal side part has a recessed part that is recessed in the longitudinal direction to the crotch part with respect to an edge part of the waist opening of the back side part. On a non-skin side surface, a tape member which fixes the diaper in a state where the diaper becomes small in the longitudinal direction in the disposal of the diaper is fixed to be extendable to the waist opening in the longitudinal direction.
