PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a threshing load in a threshing chamber and increase the processing capacity of a thresher.SOLUTION: In a threshing cylinder of a thresher in which a plurality of support members (25) for supporting threshing teeth (20) are arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction around a threshing cylinder shaft (26), a barrel part (27) covering the threshing cylinder shaft (26) is provided inside a space surrounded by the plurality of support members (25), and plate-like members (45) are provided between an outer peripheral surface of the barrel part (27) and the support members (25). The cross-sectional shape of the barrel part (27) in a direction crossing the threshing cylinder shaft (26) is formed in a circular shape or polygonal shape.
