PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the mass and the gravity center of each part of every individual.SOLUTION: The method for measuring the mass and the gravity center of each part of a human body includes the first step of setting a measurement point on a part of a subject, the second step of intermittently measuring displacement xi of the measurement point from a reference posture and a moment M around an optional point while changing the posture of the part on which the measurement point is set, the third step of estimating the mass mi of the measurement point of the part by means of multiple regression analysis using a formula M/g=&Sigmamixi+mx, the fourth step of acquiring the mass of the part from the sum of the mass mi of the measurement points, and the fifth step of acquiring the gravity center of the part from the mass mi and the positions of the measurement points. In the method, the steps are carried out one by one.
