PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an anti-obesity agent, etc., which effectively utilizes an extract extracted from Angelica shikokiana.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a physiologically active agent containing a plant-derived ingredient as an active ingredient. The method comprises an extraction step of extracting the active ingredient from Angelica shikokiana. The active ingredient has at least one anti-obesity action, an inhibitory action on lipase activity or an inhibitory action on adipocyte differentiation induction.
