PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for imaging a subject in interventional procedures.SOLUTION: An array emitter 200 including a plurality of emitting portions can be used to individually emit selected energy, such as x-ray radiation, from the emitter array rather than powering or emitting radiation from all portions of the emitter array. Accordingly, providing a plurality of cells within the emitter array and selectively emitting x-rays from the individual cells can allow selection of cells from which x-rays emit to acquire selected image data.
