PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap of stout and beautiful metal fence brace member.SOLUTION: A cap comprises a head spherical member, which is a hollow sphere with an aperture on a part of its spherical surface, and a base, which is inserted into the aperture. The aperture of the head spherical member is fit into a support cylinder part of the base, and a rod-like support is inserted along inner diameter of the support cylinder part from the lower side of the base, the rod-like support is pressed with a concave mold body from the upper side of the head spherical member, and an upper end of the support cylinder part of the base is opened as the rod-like support moves ahead in order to fix the fitting support part by swaging. A bottomed cylindrical body, which has hemispherical surface at its bottom made by providing deep drawing on a metal disk, is formed on the head spherical member. The deep drawing using a metal mold is applied to the aperture side of the bottomed cylindrical body to form the head spherical member into the hollow sphere so as not to block the aperture. For a substrate, a metal disk is formed by deep drawing into a bottomed cylindrical shape and subsequently into two-stage conical trapezoid. By perforating the bottom part of the two-stage conical trapezoid, a base cylinder part is formed with a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the tapered support cylinder part and a brace member, which can be inserted into the aperture of the head spherical member.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】丈夫で美麗な金属製の柵の支柱のキャップを提供する。【解決手段】中空球体状で球面の一部に開口部を有する頭球部材と、その開口部に挿入嵌着する基台とからなるキャップで、頭球部材の開口部を基台の支持筒部に嵌合支持し、基台の下方から支持筒部の内径に沿って棒状支持体を挿入すると共に、頭球部材の上方から凹状型体で押圧し、前記棒状支持体の進行によって基台の支持筒部の上端部を拡開させて嵌合支持部分をカシメて固定する。頭球部材は、金属円板を深絞り加工して底部に半球面を有する有底筒体を形成し、この有底筒体の開口側は金型で開口を閉塞しないように絞り加工して中空球体状に成形する。基体は、金属円板を絞り加工により有底の円筒状に成形し、絞り加工で二段の円錐台形状とした上その底部に孔を穿設して、頭球部材の開口部に挿入可能な先細の支持筒部と支柱の径に見合う径の台座筒部を成形する。【選択図】図1
