PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a novel biological treatment agent that can be used for waste water treatment by an activated sludge process of wastewater that contains organic compounds or the like or for environment cleaning by bioremediation of contaminated soil and ground water or the like polluted by organic compounds or the like; and further a wastewater treatment method or an environment cleaning method using the biological treatment agent. ! SOLUTION: A biological treatment agent includes: water; a hexametaphosphoric acid salt; a glutathione oxidation type; a glycerol dehydrogenase; a yeast melting enzyme; glycerin; a peroxodisulfuric acid salt; and ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid. Further a waste water treatment method by activated sludge process of waste water that contains organic compounds or the like or an environment cleaning method by bioremediation of contaminated soil and ground water or the like polluted by organic compounds or the like is disclosed, both methods using the biological treatment agent. !
