PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an allowance degree determining method capable of determining whether or not a driver has an allowance sufficient to receive detailed information if the drivers allowance level is intermediate by taking the level of skill of the driver into consideration in driving a vehicle.SOLUTION: According to the method for determining the degree of allowance of the driver in driving a vehicle, the degree of allowance is determined based on at least either the operation of an auxiliary machine by the driver driving the vehicle or the preparation motion for the operation of the auxiliary machine.
