PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computed tomography image apparatus capable of determining conditions relating to X-ray irradiation in accordance with a desired image quality.SOLUTION: An X-ray computed tomography image apparatus includes an X-ray source to emit X-rays and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry receives a desired detectability index set by a user, the desired detectability index for determination relating to a desired image quality of a CT scan of an object.
