The present invention relates to a diaper urination detection system using infrared communication. The diaper urination detection system using infrared communication according to the present invention is made up of a urination detection device conveniently disposed at a diaper and performing infant body temperature detection and infant urination detection alarming and an information terminal displaying diaper replacement alarm generation data and data on the actually measured body temperature stored in the urination detection device by using infrared communication (IR communication) and is capable of checking infants&prime health states based on real-time checking of urination intervals and infant body temperature changes. The present invention is made up of the urination detection device that is worn by being fixed like a clip to the diaper worn by the infant and the information terminal displaying memory input to the urination detection device by performing IR communication with the urination detection device. The urination detection device is made up of a body temperature detection unit and a main body portion including a moisture detection sensor rod. The body temperature detection unit is elastically disposed in an upper portion of the main body portion via a spring and in the form of tongs. The main body portion is positioned outside a band of the diaper. The body temperature detection unit is positioned inside the diaper and is disposed by insertion to come into contact with the infant&primes skin. The moisture detection sensor rod detects urination or non-urination based on a change in inter-electrode resistance attributable to moisture with a cable connected to a plated layer that has a surface plated such that left, right, and upper, and lower polarities are distinguished from each other.
