Various embodiments of a cable plug (1310) and a cable wire attachment plate (1410) are disclosed herein. Each plug or plate has a cable retaining portion (1320, 1420) and a fastening portion (1340, 1440) disposed from the cable retaining portion about a longitudinal axis (1352, 1452) of the plug or plate. Each cable retaining portion is preferably adapted to receive a cable wire therein, while each fastening portion is adapted to engage a portion of a bone plate (60), such as a hole (62) in the bone plate or an exterior surface of the bone plate. Related methods, systems, and kits are also disclosed.
