A drug auditing device comprising a storing means (19) for storing in advance the images of a large number of drug containers (8) in association with the names of drugs, an auditing table (4) for mounting thereon a drug container (8) to be audited, an imaging means (5) for picking up the image of a drug container (8) on the auditing table (4), a judging means (18) judging whether or not an image obtained by the imaging means (5) can be found in images stored in the storing means (19). Accordingly, drugs can be audited quickly and easily, and an accurate collation can prevent an auditing error.
