PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnetic apparatus capable of reducing entry of heat without enlarging the superconducting magnetic apparatus, and having a simple structure.SOLUTION: The superconducting magnetic apparatus includes a refrigerant tank for storing an ultra-low temperature cooling medium which cools a superconducting coil a heat shield which surrounds the refrigerant tank a vacuum tank 5 which surrounds the heat shield a refrigerator 10 for reliquefying the ultra-low temperature cooling medium through the refrigerant tank while being attached to the vacuum tank 5 and a piping having one edge communicatable with the refrigerant tank and other edge communicatable with outside of the vacuum tank 5. In the hollow cylindrical superconducting magnetic apparatus 1, a center axis passing through magnetic field is horizontally arranged.
