PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optotype presentation apparatus capable of precisely executing an examination.SOLUTION: The optotype presentation apparatus according to the present embodiment, includes a display part, an image signal generation part, and a control part. The display part includes left-eye optotype display areas each having a first polarizing axis and outputting light, and right-eye optotype display areas each having a second polarizing axis orthogonally crossing with the first polarizing axis and outputting light, where both optotype display areas are alternately disposed along a line of pixels. An image signal generation part generates an image signal for displaying an optotype and including display luminance information representing display luminance corresponding to the optotype.
