PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer capable of suppressing generation of scale, and a sanitary washing device.SOLUTION: This sterilizer includes: an electrolytic cell capable of producing sterile water a water supply means to supply water to the electrolytic cell and a control part for controlling current carrying to the electrolytic cell and water passing to the electrolytic cell from the water supply means, and can supply the sterile water produced by the electrolytic cell.
