The process of cultivating azolla comprises the ste1-3s of: a) Collecting azolla spores from mature, grown, brownish azolla ferns； b) Mixing the azolla spores with vermicast； c) Broadcasting the-mixture of azolla spores.and vermicast into the azolla ponds； d) Sustaining the azolla ponds with fertilizer in accordance with a predetermined period； and e) Harvesting the azolla ferns after a predetermined period.
