A tick capturing and revealing tool comprising a base sheet, an adhesive sheet including a tick revealing sample, and a tick attracting agent is provided. In addition, a video image device that reads captured ticks is disposed above the adhesive sheet. The video image device performs gradation processing of the background image from the relative color difference between the adhesive sheet and the visible (colored) mite, calculates statistical data of the captured mites, and displays the calculation results.
