The sample similarity measurement method during a process of a digital pathology system includes extracting a first main area and a second main area of each of a first digital slide image and a second digital slide image aligning the first main area and the second main area classifying sample types of the first main area and the second main area when the alignment is successful and measuring similarity of the first main area and the second main area when the sample types are the same.
