PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed device allowing a position change into a chair position without the abutment of a bottom of a foot part on a floor face even if the bed device is a low-floor bed.SOLUTION: When a cover part 8 rotates downward or upward, a plate part 9 pulled up or pressed out by both support arms 10, 10 gets into or advances to the cover part 8, so that a length wherein the plate part 9 laps to the cover part 8 changes into a short or long length.
