The invention relates to a device for protecting an area against terrestrial gastropods, which includes at least one barrier (11) comprising: a base (12) for securing the barrier to the periphery of the area (P) to be protected； a ceiling wall (13) connected to the base (12)； a screen (14) extending along the ceiling wall (13) and spaced apart from the latter； a space (15) between said ceiling wall (13) and said screen (14)； and at least one blocking means for preventing the gastropods, of the size category targeted by the barrier, from crawling into said space (15). Barriers targeting small gastropods can be integrated into the barriers targeting large gastropods.Dispositif de protection d'une zone contre les gastéropodes terrestres comprenant au moins une barrière (11) comportant : un socle (12) destiné à arrimer la barrière à la périphérie de la zone (P) à protéger, une paroi plafond (13) liée au socle (12), une grille (14) s'étendant le long de la paroi plafond (13) et à distance de celle-ci, un espace (15) entre cette paroi plafond (13) et cette grille (14), et au moins un moyen de barrage destiné à empêcher les gastéropodes de la catégorie de tailles visée par la barrière de ramper dans cet espace (15).
