The invention provides compositions and methods for determining the likelihood of successful treatment with a treatment regimen available to gastrointestinal cancer patients, wherein the treatment regimen comprises a FOLFIRI or bevacizumab therapy or an equivalent therapy and the determination of the likelihood comprises determining the genotype of the patient for the KSRl rs2241906 allele. After determining if a patient is likely to be successfully treated, the invention also provides methods for treating these patients.La présente invention concerne des compositions et des méthodes qui permettent de déterminer la probabilité de succès dun traitement avec un schéma thérapeutique convenant à des patients atteints dun cancer du tractus gastro-intestinal, le schéma thérapeutique comprenant une thérapie par FOLFIRI ou bevacizumab ou une thérapie équivalente, la détermination de la probabilité comprenant la détermination du génotype du patient pour lallèle KSRl rs2241906. Suite à la détermination dun patient comme étant susceptible dêtre traité avec succès, la présente invention concerne également des méthodes de traitement de ces patients.
